The Straits Times Feature: Tiny But Mighty – Preemies are Natural-Born Fighters

World Prematurity Day is observed on 17 November each year to raise awareness of preterm birth and the concerns of preterm babies and their families worldwide.

The Straits Time interviewed Shubhada and Ashish to share their story of giving birth to an extreme pre-term baby who is now a healthy teen. All motherhood stories are amazing and this one is no exception. In fact, there’s a lot of magic in this story.

Here are some of the excerpts from the original article that appeared on The Straits Times – Singapore’s National Newspaper.

  1. Congratulations for the feature! I agree with you, preemies are born fighters and they know how to handle things. Your story is definitely no less than a miracle, it will surely give hope to other parents of preemies.

  2. It was lovely reading about your journey. I can’t even imagine how overwhelming it must have been, but glad to hear that your girl has been a true fighter.. Stay blessed
