We are just back from a week’s trip to KL. We stayed in Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur.

Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur is located at 222, Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which is right n the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s business district and you’ll find a lot of embassies around. It’s a beautiful central location and yet offers tranquility that’s much needed. It’s just 0.6 mi away from Petronas Twin Towers and Suria KLCC Shopping Mall. Also, it’s very convenient to travel to other tourist destinations in and around KL from Oakwood.

Does the hotel offer different types of rooms for different needs of guests?
Some travel solo, some as couple, some for business and some with family and kids – it’s necessary to check whether the hotel has rooms that fulfill your requirements. We were travelling with kids and wanted to book 2 rooms for a comfortable stay – quite specifically 2 connecting rooms! Staff at Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur was absolutely prompt, friendly and considerate of our requirements. We booked 1 Bedroom Deluxe King and 1 Deluxe Twin Room. Very spacious indeed! All rooms come with beds and bathroom with designer toiletries and a relaxing rain shower. Every room is fitted with a full range of amenities. They come with complimentary Wi-Fi; a wide-screen LCD TV with multi-channel cable service; and an electronic in-room safe.

Treat Restaurant
Oakwood has good food definitely! Their Treat Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and for all-day dining. You can relish both local and international dishes at this restaurant. If you are a vegetarian like me, no worries because there are plenty of options for you as well.
Pool Bar
If you are looking to chill and crave for a a casual happy hour drink then Oakwood’s al-fresco Pool Bar is for you – relaxing, cooling offering swimming pool views up close and personal.
