At the stroke of midnight, Singapore welcomed 2023 with the highly-anticipated and spectacular countdown fireworks at the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2023. This year’s fireworks were extremely special because they returned after a 2 year hiatus. They surely ignited a feeling of hope and exuberance.
On New Year’s Eve, revellers from Singapore and other countries congregated in the center of the city to partake in the celebrations. As an outstanding lineup of events and programs took place all day long along Marina Bay, spirits were high. At STAR ISLAND, a musical spectacle included award-winning fireworks that mesmerized the crowd and the heartwarming Share the Moment light projections. The Great Bay Fiesta, After Hours @ The Lawn, Come Together: The Next Wave, Let’s Celebrate 2023, and Brightening Lives 2023 all offered fun-filled events for visitors, as well as entertaining performances and eye-catching light displays.
Finally, at midnight, revellers were treated to a spectacular seven-minute fireworks display accompanied by a dazzling drone show, ushering in 2023 with a bang.
