In 2020, while Covid-19 has stalled all our plans, we are glad to see that India’s biggest national-level school quiz ever Discovery School Super League (DSSL) Season 3 with an expected participation of over 1 crore students will be conducted completely online and will be hosted by Edtech startup Byju’s.

Just in case you didn’t know – DSSL- Powered by Byju’s is an extremely popular 6-episode nail-biting series (National Level Quiz Competition) telecast on Discovery Channel.
India’s Biggest National-Level School Quiz Hosted by Byju’s
60 of India’s smartest kids [to be divided into 30 teams] will be selected after a rigorous online screening with almost 30, 000 schools and close to 1 crore students expected participation in this competition. Each episode has 6 teams each battling it out in the semifinals – There will be 5 semifinals.
The winning team from each semifinal will then participate in the gripping mega-final consisting of 5 teams. One winning team along with 2 runner-up teams will win exciting prizes and a trip to NASA. Isn’t it exciting?

DSSL has completed two successful seasons and received an overwhelming response from the length and breadth of the country.

- First-of-its-kind in India – Season 3 of Byju’s-DSSL is conceptualized at a never-before scale. It is on its way to becoming India’s biggest national-level school quiz ever. To overcome the ongoing global pandemic situation, Byju’s will leverage its digital expertise to create a first-of-its-kind school quiz that is 100% virtual.
How to Participate?
All students enrolled in the schools between grades 04 to 09 are eligible to participate in DSSL. There will be two stages of the show:
Stage 1: Students will have to take four preliminary tests that would have no entry fee.
Stage 2: After a rigorous selection process, the top teams from each state will qualify for a six-episode TV quiz show, which will also take place remotely.
