Who had imagined that everything will have to be switched to mostly online including education, shopping, work meetings and even doc consultation. Though as an IT Professional, I have been always using online tools extensively, in my wildest imagination too, I had not thought that we will have our trademark event Mom N Me Fashionista from the comfort of our home.
So yes, after 3 rocking seasons that we had in venues like hotels, auditoriums and so on, we were thinking what to do with Season 4? Shall we drop the idea? or postpone but then how long to postpone – We were quite confused just like many event organizers.
When you are a part of team that consists of awesome ladies like Kavita and Saraswathi, why to worry? So yes, after some brainstorming, we decided to take Mom N Me Fashionista to an Online Platform.
Mom N Me Fashionista Circuitbreaker
SocialMediaMomSG which is our arm for Mom-related content and activities and Olive Events as a co-organizer, Mom N Me Fashionista Circuitbreaker started taking shape.
The basic idea was to stay safe and still have a proper event consisting of steps like – Registration, Submission of Fashion Show and Talent videos, Voting and Judging Process with a final conclusion of prizes and certificates – All ONLINE and in E-format.
To be honest, we were not sure how it’s going to work but voila! the response was overwhelming and it warmed our hearts to see ladies and kids and even families participating wholeheartedly.
Sushmita, Soma and Shovita had a tough time to zero in on the Critics awards because there was a huge treasure of talent and style making it difficult to choose winners. We also chose winners via Public voting.

We loved this whole experience of having an online event and glad that we adapted to the new normal to ensure that the show must go on!

The concept of Mom N Me Fashionista sounds refreshing by promoting in-house talent that also virtually without going out.
Thats quite an experience of conducting a fashion show online. This sort of online shows should be carried out more nowadays.
