My New Organic Haul!…Thanks Dr. Bronner’s

When I tried Dr. Bronner’s Magic, multipurpose soaps some time ago, I loved them! I mean how not to love a soap that you can use for shower, shampoo, cleaning and for many other things. These Castile Organic Liquid Soaps are made using the ancient wisdom of Mother Nature’s wondrous resources, while marrying the cutting-edge technology to augment their ingredients’ efficacy so you reap the full and best benefits.

So when Dr. Bronner’s sent over their brand new organic launches just in time before Christmas, I was more than eager to try, test and write this review.

The theme is very interesting here: “If you wouldn’t eat it, then you shouldn’t put it on your skin”.

Dr. Bronner’s All-One Toothpaste

My Verdict: I was curious to find whether Low-foaming Dr. Bronner’s All-One toothpaste is effective enough to clean teeth and freshen up my breath and mouth. It does work wonderfully!

I liked this paste for my kids even better. They find adult toothpastes too minty, spicy and burning for their little mouths. No such complain with Dr. Bronner’s All-One toothpaste and they now use it Everyday!

We are using its cool cool peppermint flavor. It is also available in Cinnamon and Anise flavors.

Dr. Bronner’s Organic Hand Sanitizer

Weather is rainy – sometimes hot and sometimes cold so the germs are very happy 🙁 Common viruses are on the prowl. You know how kids are! They like to play anywhere anyhow. As a parent, I run behind them to wash hands and legs regularly but they run away as fast as possible! Not any more though…

They are good kids now and regularly use Dr. Bronner’s Organic Hand Sanitizer kills germs with a simple formula: organic ethyl alcohol, water, organic lavender oil, and organic glycerin – that’s it! None of the nasty chemicals. Lesser the better when it comes to ingredients.

Available in Lavender fragrance.

My Verdict: I liked its fragrance a lot. It’s lingering and very refreshing. I use it for my kids hands especially when we are on the go. My daughter sprays it sometimes in her room as an air freshener. So dual purpose is achieved – Kill germs + freshen up surroundings. The Color of the packaging is so pleasant and uplifting. My fav Color!

Dr. Bronner’s Organic Pump Soaps

This reminds me a lot of my previous haul of Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Magic soaps. I am an eco-blogger and always support products that are pure, organic and cruelty-free. Whatever we use should be good for us and good for Mother Earth also. So Dr. Bronner’s 4-in-1 Sugar Organic Pump Soap fits the bill perfectly.

Fair trade and organic sugar gives this Organic Pump Soaps a rich caramel color and sweet scent. The sugar combines with organic white grape juice to keep your skin nourished, hydrated and smooth. Organic coconut-olive oils blend for a creamy castile lather.

Available in Unscented Baby Mild, Peppermint, Lavender, Tea Tree and Lemongrass Lime fragrance. I tried Lemongrass Lime.

My Verdict: I used it for shower, hubby used it for hand wash and kids used it for shampoo. Just put it in the bathroom and done! For me, I prefer it more for face wash and shower than shampoo. Kids and hubby overall liked it too.

It’s fragrance is niceeee. When you use it first you get the lemon aroma and then slowly lemongrass refreshes you. Can Dr. Bronner’s come up with a drink which has this flavor? Will taste yummylicious!

Dr. Bronner’s Organic Lotion

What’s in it? Organic jojoba oil to heal and soothe, organic coconut oil to moisturize, organic hemp and avocado oils to keep skin smooth and supple. Good for most skin types, sensitive-dry-rough-or combination. Importantly, Only organic essential oils are used for fragrance.

Available in Orange Lavender, Peppermint, Lavender Coconut, Patchouli Lime flavors.

My verdict: I used it on hands, face and body. This lotion is highly emollient and a small quantity is enough so start with a small amount. Just a few squirts will cover the whole body and absorb quickly into skin. Dr. Bronner’s organic lotion nourishes and moisturizes very well.

I like minty fragrances so I chose peppermint again. It has a cooling effect so very good for hot weather. My hubby doesn’t like peppermint so for him probably I will buy Patchouli lime fragrance.
