After opening the package, I found some cute, pampering, yummy goodies for my skin!! Yummy? Is that word used for skin care or is it more for food? Hmmm….read on and you will know why I called it “yummy”!! BTW, the ribbon and the goodies were so tempting that couldn’t help but wrap the ribbon around them, do some creative arrangement and click some pics.
Three Handmade Heroes products inside – rich, classy. Some products don’t need too much jazz, glitter. This brand is one of them. Products are conveniently packed in sizes that I can easily carry in my handbag. The packs are BPA free. Did you like the bold, catchy font of the package label? I loved it. Names of the products? equally intriguing…Beauty Warrior, Coco-licious Luscious, Coco Friggin’ Fanastic and so on.
Here is my account of unpacking of Handmade Heroes, trying them out and gathering more info about them.
Handmade Heroes is an all natural skin care company, home grown brand based in Singapore.
- Free of preservatives, parabens? means they are gentle even for sensitive skin – Good 🙂
- all natural? means as away as possible from a chemical lab – Better 🙂 🙂
- Vegan and cruelty-free – means no dairy products used, free of animal derivatives, not tested on animals? – Best 🙂 🙂 🙂
Eeny meeny miny moe…What should I unpack and try first? Okies, lemme start with Beauty Warrior Face Mask (French Green Clay)
Blemish busting & rejuvenating dull skin, Beauty Warrior Mask removes impurities and tightens pores. Brightening and countering redness in the skin with antioxidant turmeric and nourishing with vitamin E, this French Green clay mask draw toxins and excess oils from the skin to reveal a brighter and fresher skin.
It also doubles up as a gentle face exfoliator. Simply add a few more drops of water to it and it cleanses and gives your skin a gentle micro exfoliation – only the gentlest exfoliator for your very delicate skin!
My face is small so just 1 1/2 spoons was enough for me actually. After applying, the immediate feeling was tightening of skin and it is quite cooling…After some time, I found that it is getting tighter on my face. Hubby loved it because I had to keep my mouth shut for 10-15 minutes 😀
After washing off the mask using circular motions, face was oh-so-cleansed, mild-fragrance-lingering and looked overall firmed up! If your skin is by default dry, don’t forget to apply moisturizer since the mask can make the face a bit drier.

Face done! Looking much better now…How about lips? Generally, I don’t care much about lips…If they get too chapped then just apply a lip balm and get going!! But how about using Coco-licious Luscious Lip Scrub?
Scrub for lips? Never heard before…never tried before…So what is it?

You will find its taste very yummy!! Now you know why in the beginning of this post, I said that Handmade Heroes are yummy?! It tastes like a big, delicious bowl of refreshing Thai coconut ice cream.
Instead of washing it off after application, I just ate it up. Delish!

Packaging looks practical, no fuss. Looks like a guy designed it, hehe. Important here is that the product is hypo-allergenic for the safety of the user’s skin.
