Yoo hoo!! KIDZANIA Singapore opens Its KID-SIZED city this APRIL

Just like my kids, I was also waiting for KidZania to open in Singapore. The wait is now over and on 12th April KidZania throws open its doors to welcome all kids and parents. Now that is really an exciting news!!

KidZania, the world’s fastest growing family edutainment phenomenon, has announced that KidZania Singapore will open to the public on 12 April 2016 and operate 7 days a week.

Designed to provide kids with realistic role-play activities that complements school learning experiences, KidZania Singapore is best suited for children aged 4 and above.

Located at Palawan Kidz City and conveniently linked to the Beach Station on Sentosa Island, the 7,600 square-metre park will open with a variety of role-play activities for kids to live out their aspirations and challenge themselves to real-life adventures.

What is KidZania all about?
KidZania is an indoor family education and entertainment centre, which offers an interactive learning and entertainment experience targeted at kids.

KidZania combines role-play with real life, creating a kid-centric city experience designed to educate and inspire kids; from arriving at the airport, to visiting a city centre to exploring the city streets. As in the real world, kids choose activities – such as being a pilot, police officer, doctor, journalist or a customer – and earn money, which they can then spend or save.

KidZania operates just like a real city complete with buildings, paved streets, vehicles, a functioning economy, and recognisable destinations in the form of “establishments” branded by leading international and local brands. The facilities are designed to educate through experience, fostering the development of life skills, but from a kid’s perspective it is all about fun which truly epitomizes learning through play.

Essentially the fastest growing educational and entertainment brand in the world, KidZania has won numerous awards, having been voted “Best Theme Park Worldwide” by The Themed Entertainment Association, “Top Family Entertainment Centre of the World” by the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (“IAAPA”), “Global Leisure Operator of the Year” by Retail and Leisure International and “Concept of the Year” by MAPIC.

  2. That's awesome, it's definitely great to have a place like this for the kids. They won't only have a great time playing but also a great time learning about what it's like to work as their dream profession. So glad you finally have it in Singapore.

  3. Sounds awesome. This is the 3rd review of Kidzania I'm reading in Blogosphere.much hype in your country I guess. Hope it totally lives upto the hype!

  4. I wish Kidzania was around when I was still a kid. This would definitely teach kids about the real world the fun way.

  5. haha I keep reading about Kidzania. We're about a couple of blocks away from the one in Manila and yet we've not brought the kids there yet. I'm thinking maybe this summer. 🙂

  6. KidZania does really enhance not only supplement the knowledge and earning the kids get from the 4 corners of their classroom. Kids do learn a first hand experience through a manipulative devices to play the role of a doctor, among others.

KidZania is the EduWorld for the curious, inquisitive kids to develop and instill to them the value of work in the real world.

  7. There's a Kidzania in the Philippines but I haven't been there yet. How fortunate for kids to have something like this. I wish we had one during our years. 🙂 I'm sure your kids will enjoy trying out the different professions. 🙂

  8. This might be my second time to read about Kidzania. We also have Kidzania here in Manila and I think that was the one I read about from another blog. Looks like a good place to bring the kids.

  9. I am glad my kids are already past this Kidzania age, because the ticket prices are so expensive. Hehe. I know that if they were younger, I am sure I would not be able to get away from bringing them here.
