Mom’s guide to be Energetic Inside Out

 Moms need superpower. Many of us acquire it by default the moment we give birth. Kid is born and Mom is born too! Our kids become our world and then life speeds up maddeningly. Cooking, cleaning, feeding, taking care of their studies and all the things in-between. If you are a working mom, then you have to handle that front too efficiently. Whoa! mom is a human too and from where to get that endless energy?

This is what I do to maintain my energy levels to the maximum. Read on and pls do share your tips n tricks too below in the comments. There are many moms out there who are looking for it.

1. Make, prioritize and sort your to-do list carefully:

Since my childhood, I have seen my meticulous grandma and mom making to-do list. They said that once the to-do list is up, it’s work half done. Though I am not as meticulous as them, I do ensure to have some priority list on my smartphone. I have observed that my forgetful self misses out important errands and I waste my energy on doing completely unnecessary stuff.

So, now a days what I do is, jot down all the thousand things on the note and then decide what needs my attention. This saves heaps of my energy and I can save things from becoming urgent.

2. Get help:

Call me lazy or anything but I simply don’t shy away from getting help. I am a proud multi-tasker and I need help in doing myriad of tasks simultaneously.

Though I salute moms who handle everything on their own without any part or full-time helper, I have no intention to become like them. If I want to keep my family happy, I have to maintain super-high levels of energy and that won’t happen if I insist on doing all by myself. I just can’t!

So, for general house keeping and childcare, I don’t mind having a full-time helper or if I don’t really understand kids’ studies, rather than stressing over it, better I send them for tuition.

Once this arrangement is in place, I get time to spend more time with my family, have fun with my kids and yes, I ensure that I cook for them with my own hands. Oh, I am able to then drive some energy for this blog and my Instafam and my event organization too.

3. Accept that you can be tired:

Take no pressure! No need to always prove that you are a supermom to anyone. Not even to yourself.

Of course, in this post, we are talking about how to be energetic, but let’s not forget the fact that hell yes, we all get tired sometimes and lethargic and unwell and so on.

Leave everything aside and pay attention to yourself mama! Just do nothing and have a nice nap. Or go get a SPA treatment or some retail therapy or meet your girlfriends over some coffee n gossips.

This will reboot and recharge you with renewed energy to take the world head on. My own experience says so.

4. Body and Mind Sync:

This is slightly abstract but important. Many times I feel that my mind is on the top gear bursting with awesome ideas but body is just not co-operating.

Sometimes, vice-versa happens. Body is full of energy and raring to go but mind is sleepy.

Striking perfect sync among these two and making them work in tandem is very important to keep those mom-energies always high. Yoga probably? and a good night’s sleep.

5. Healthy food, exercise and supplements for that inside out energy boost:

I eat junk but try my best to minimize it. Lots of veggies for me and adequate H2O for hydration .

Exercise makes you active and agile, no denying about it. Sometime soon, I am planning to get started with proper exercise but as of now, I walk and climb stairs and move my body at least a bit.

Supplements bridge the gap between what needs to be fed to the body and what is actually being fed. Are you getting enough vitamins, nutrients and other recommended daily intake of goodness? It’s necessary to get enough so that we look good and feel good. Like this Zell-V that I have been taking for 2-3 weeks and finding them to be effective.
