For me, the first and foremost reason to watch DBS Sparks was Nathan Hartono who plays young Chester. I mean he is so talented and his winsome smile…
By the way, for the uninitiated, Sparks, by DBS, is an industry-first mini-series that follows a group of young bankers as they navigate work and personal lives. Inspired by true stories, they challenge the status quo to go above and beyond when solving unusual client challenges. Since launching in February 2016, Sparks Episodes 1-5 and their trailers have altogether garnered more than 42 million views and over 1.7 million digital engagements across the region. I have included episode synopsis below this post for you all.
DBS is my favourite bank in Singapore and am sure most of us regard DBS as their friend first, bank later. DBS believes in going the extra mile for customers so that they can achieve their dreams and get more out of life.
Through DBS Sparks mini-series, DBS hopes to convey the true meaning of banking, and to challenge the perception that banking is only about transactions. This reflects the bank’s commitment to understand what matters in life, and integrate banking seamlessly with everyday living.
The latest episode to be launched sees us go back in time with Chester, to when he meets his first clients – a young couple who own a small bus company. Guided by values he holds close to his heart, he stands with the family through each of their successes, and all of their setbacks.
The exclusive premiere of the seventh instalment of the DBS Sparks mini-series was recently launched in the presence of Nathan, Jaime Teo, and Karen Ngui, Managing Director and Head of Group Strategic Marketing and Communications, DBS Bank where they introduced the seventh instalment of DBS Sparks, and shared what was most meaningful to them while working on this mini-series. So much fun to meet these heartthrobs and mingle with them.
Post-premiere, Nathan and Jaime headed over to the DBS Marina Regatta at The Promontory@Marina Bay.
DBS Marina Regatta showcased Battle Bay – a 9-challenge inflatable water obstacle course spanning 11,000 square feet!
DBS Sparks is a story of the triumph of the human spirit, a relationship born over time, through each loss and every kindness. Watch Sparks at www.dbs.com/sparks
