The Woosh at Wild Wild Wet – Seeing Double, Twice the Fun

I am just back from the launch party of The Woosh at Wild Wild Wet @ Downtown East – tanned and tired but this can’t stop me from writing this blog post as soonest as possible because the fun we had today, my friends, you should have too.

School holidays are on, scorching summer is on, we all are looking for kids activities n things to do as a family and we need nothing but BIG WATER THERAPY! Wild Wild Wet located in the beautiful town of Pasir Ris offers exactly that and much more. We have been to Wild Wild Wet before as well and every time we go there, we find it equally amazing. This time, I found it more spacious, revamped and providing edutainment to kids and basically for the complete Family Fun.

Today when we went to Wild Wild Wet for Sample Store’s Bloggers Exclusive Launch Party, We got to experience The Woosh – the latest and Singapore’s Longest Inflatable Freestyle Water Slide. One word to describe – Super-Fun!

By the way, did you notice that word “Seeing Double” in this blog title? What’s that? Read on as I reveal more about it. ♥

This is us. Something about our OOTDs – We all are wearing Mickey and Minnie Mouse themed tees. Why? Since we all wanted to be a part of the Singapore Book of Records that in fact got set today.

Today a new record in Singapore was set where the Most Number of People In Pairs were Dressed Identically. Total of 111 pairs = 222 people were dressed identically. What a fun way to forge closer ties with your loved ones.

By the way, Seeing Double promo is ON now till 31st July. You dress identically with your kid / partner / friend and you get 1-for-1 day pass to have unlimited fun at Wild Wild Wet.

Now, The Woosh!

Wild Wild Wet now has Singapore’s longest inflatable freestyle water slide and that’s The Woosh! We got to get the preview of it today and what a fun it was!

It’s long, longer, longest…50 meters to be specific.

We took the slide and brought out our inner child. If parents liked the Woosh, obviously kids would enjoy it too! The Woosh can be tried in different ways – on your back, use tube, head-first and many other. So more the merrier ♥

It’s safe, it’s fun, it’s worry-free happiness for parents and kids. Don’t forget to try when you visit Wild Wild Wet this June.

After the Woosh, time to take other rides!

My hubby and kids were determined to try every single ride multiple times and all I was doing was running behind them, capturing beautiful moments and soaking in the water and the wind myself. It was pretty hot today but the water was so calming and refreshing.

Do you know that Wild Wild Wet water park has this much variety of rides for all in the family? So even if you are a kid or adult, there’s something for everyone. We had our grandma visiting us from India. Even she enjoyed some splashing water.

  • The Woosh
  • Ular-Lah
  • The Water Works
  • Slide Up
  • Torpedo
  • Professor’s Playground
  • Yippie!
  • Shiok River
  • Tsunami
  • Jacuzzi
  • Royal Flush
  • Free Fall
  • Kidz Zone
  • Splash Play

In my personal opinion, Royal Flush and Torpedo are truly adrenaline rushing rides and those of you are adventure junkies must try it. Screams, chills, thrills…Shiok River is another fav that I always always try many times. Last time, I guess it was closed for renovation and now it has come back with more bang.

What I love about Downtown East is the way they cater to our tummies. Water play makes you hungry and thirsty and a mom like me doesn’t have to worry at all because this is ALL WE CAN EAT. E!Hub at Downtown East even has shopping. Yay! Everything is so family-friendly.

A few other things that I love doing and are managed by Downtown East peeps are: Orchid Bowl and eXplorerkid ♥ Did I tell you that am eyeing that fabulous Staycation at D’Resort?

So, we had awesome family fun time thanks to Wild Wild Wet’s numerous attractions. When are you going there? The Woosh, Seeing Double and lots of family bonding opportunities are waiting for you ♥

  1. Oh wow! That’s super cool! 1 for 1 tickets? That’s cool! It would be awesome to see an entire theme park filled with doubles!!!

  2. This is truly fun and I like to try the long slide. I will surely enjoy this theme park with a lot of fun and exciting water activities. I wouldn’t mine coming back again and again, cause this is really a perfect playground not only for children, but for adult like me as well.

  4. We have similar attractions here but you’re water park looks cleaner and a lot more fun. This is really a fun place to be for the whole family.
