ACT 3 International, Singapore’s leading Arts company for the young, invites audiences on an exhilarating musical ‘roller coaster’ of sorts in a truly unique original performance – Crazy Classics with Sid Bowfin – that will be performed daily from 25 February to 12 March 2017 at Drama Centre Black Box.
This high-energy solo act promises plenty of rollicking hilarity by the talented musician and comedian – a self confessed “manic idiot violinist” – whose enthusiasm for the classics is highly contagious; and surpassed only by his zany antics and flawless technique.
Suited for 4 year olds and above, Crazy Classics with Sid Bowfin is a brilliant combination of classical music, recital, stand-up comedy, audience interaction and even a clown routine.
A master of improvisation, Sid’s material will inevitably be spiced up with surprises and undoubtedly showcase the accessibility of classical music to all ages. Audiences will be thrilled with authentic renditions of famous Mozart, Vivaldi, Rossini and Pachelbel pieces as well as the unexpected pop hit, along with the opportunity to be picked as Sid’s sidekick!
Held in the cosy Drama Centre Black Box, Crazy Classics with Sid Bowfin will bring audiences up close and personal with the classics as one has never known!
