What is Mane ‘n Tail?

Originally, the product was created on the Katzev family horse farm in rural New Jersey. I was sent the three different varieties of Mane n Tail Shampoos and Conditioners. Different ranges are available for different hair types. Each range has its unique formula and benefits.

Original Mane ‘n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner

It is called as Original because it is the original Horse to Human crossover shampoo that provides fuller, stronger, longer and healthier hair.

Original Shampoo contains the ORIGINAL exclusive micro-enriched protein formula. Its gentle rich fragrant lather provides “down to the scalp” cleansing action without stripping natural oils. It has an unique formula that contains conditioning emollients providing body, shine and manageability for healthy looking hair every time you shampoo.

When I used this shampoo and conditioner, I found the hair voluminous and looked thicker. I would recommend it for people who have thin, limp hair. 

Herbal-Gro Shampoo and Conditioner

It is formulated with natural herbs blended with an olive oil complex to nourish, strengthen and fortify hair from root to tip.

Herbal-Gro shampoo and Herbal-Gro conditioner gently cleanses, leaves hair shiny, silky and healthy looking. When I washed my hair with Deep Moisturizing Shampoo and conditioned it later with Deep Moisturizing Conditioner, I was expecting it to leave my hair oily and limp because of the word “deep moisturizing” but to my pleasant surprise, it didn’t leave hair oily. In fact, I got that “clean and fresh” feeling and still the hair didn’t get rough or dry later. Especially the hair roots that are generally frizzy and hard were now softer and manageable. It’s fragrance is mild and not too strong which is a great thing. I loved this range and now regularly use it!

*Tip: if you have short hair, use only small amount of shampoo (about the size of a 10 cents coin). 50 cents coin size for average length and two 20 cents coins size if your hair is past your shoulders. So the pack will last for quite long duration.
