As a mom, I have always found it challenging to treat diarrhoea in kids and ensure complete and quick recovery. I am sure many of you are also sailing in the same boat like me. Recently I attended a very insightful event by Enterogermina on 25th May 2019. #HappyTummiesMeet was indeed very informative and I learnt about Enterogermina and how it helps manage Diarrhoea.
Let me share with you some of the key things that I learnt as a mom during #HappyTummiesMeet:

What are the reasons and causes of diarrhoea?

  • Heat and changes in weather is the underlying reason of diarrhoea, which is more prevalent during summer and winter. Generally, it occurs towards the end of summer and at the start of the rainy season.
  • It is also caused by the contaminated water we drink. Water with unknown origin, is often used to wash vegetables and fruits and that can trigger diarrhoea
  • We need to watch out for food contamination due to street food which can cause the breeding of bacteria.

As moms, we must keep a watch on diarrhoea symptoms carefully.

What are the symptoms of diarrhoea?

Nausea, poor nutrition, dry mouth, fatigue, drowsiness and feverish feelings, severe abdominal pain, decreased volume of urine, weight loss and excessive thirst are some of the symptoms and we should not ignore them at all.

Enterogermina #HappyTummies Meet

Like I mentioned earlier, this meet was an eye-opener and I find myself better equipped to combat diarrhoea in kids. At Enterogermina #HappyTummies event, there was a knowledge sharing session by an expert. Diarrhoea causes dehydration that is a real issue and rehydration is of paramount importance. Probiotics such as Enterogermina play a very crucial role in managing diarrhoea. No wonder, Enterogermina is Paediatrician’s No.1 Choice. The expert at Enterogermina #HappyTummies event explained about its composition, dosage and other important factors. It is lactose free, sugar free and gluten free. The formulation is indicated for administration to children and infants.

While moms gained some important pointers about how to combat diarrhoea, kids had a fun time too. They thoroughly enjoyed the skit talking about Good and Bad Bacteria and understood the difference between them. Kids were introduced to the facts about diarrhoea, its causes and importance of cleanliness in an interactive manner.

My kids loved the games where they picked up healthy food over junk food. After coming back home, they were still discussing about how they killed the bad bacteria and why they love Enterogermina.

To know more about Enterogermina, watch this video. Moms will love how convenient it is to keep their kids’ tummies happy and healthy.

All you have to do is:
o Shake the bottle.
o Twist it and break.
o Drink.

Let’s all take care and say “Hi” to #HappyTummies!!!
